Helping Hands Team
Are you interested in helping people with household repairs? Do you love to paint, pound, or putter with putty? Is construction your middle name? The Helping Hands team helps people who need assistance with household repairs and helps Trinity with its maintenance and construction projects.

Paint the new food storage area at Valley Food Shelf
Sat., Sept. 22
We have made big progress painting the large pantry for the Valley Outreach Food Shelf's new location on Curve Crest. We still need help on Sept. 22 to finish painting the tall walls. Lunch is provided and we will get a tour of the new facility. We also need donations to cover the cost of the paint. Please contact Kathy Hagen at 426-7176 if you can help.
Lake Elmo house remodeling project
We need help in the following areas: mechanical systems (electrical, plumbing, heating), roofing, painting, cleaning and landscaping. Details to come... Led by Chuck Newman
 Summer Drive-In service Food collection
Each summer, during Drive-In worship services, attendees are encouraged to bring a donation of non-perishable food for the Valley Outreach Food Shelf. If you have any questions about the food shelf or would like to volunteer to help at Valley Outreach, please contact Heidi White at heidiskwhite@hotmail.com.
Car Care Program
Trinity volunteers join with those from other churches in the St. Croix Valley to provide car repairs and maintenance to those in need. The second Saturday of the month volunteer mechanics and dust angels (those committed to clean car interiors) gather at Lake Elmo Repair, 11179 Stillwater Blvd., Lake Elmo, from 8 a.m.-noon. People having their cars repaired also receive training in budgeting basics and a warm lunch while enjoying Christian fellowship. Car Care also sponsors practical budgeting classes for all income level families as well as a car grant program that provides cars to low-income individuals and families. Car donations to this program entitle the donor to receive the maximum tax deduction benefit allowed under new IRS guidelines. If you would like to volunteer, donate your used car or just have questions, please contact Karen or Barry Stack at 439-4874.
 Eco-Ministries
Are you interested in God’s Creation? Do you love the environment? Eco-Ministries at Trinity Lutheran Church is about learning opportunities, conversations, and experiences that focus on seeing God in God’s Creation and caring for it.
We are active in:
• Leading the “Clean the Ravine Event” in partnership with Friends of Stillwater Parks and the City of Stillwater each spring
• Family canoe trips down the St. Croix River to learn about the nature world and enjoy its beauty.
• Leading the “Buckthorn Removal Event” in partnership with Friends of Stillwater Parks and the City of Stillwater . We help to remove buckthorn from the McKusick Ravine each fall. Date coming soon!
We are actively looking to build this ministry and need you to join us!
