Check in on the 2010 Mission Trip Blog
You are invited to join Mexico Mission 2010!This winter’s trip will be from March 11-18, 2010Mexico Mission is: - An opportunity to serve the world and put our faith in Jesus into action. - A time of personal and spiritual growth as we see, hear, and talk about what it means to be used by God.- A chance to experience and be a part of bringing justice to the world.
Each year approximately 65 students and 15 adults go to serve Jesus in Mexico by building roofs on homes, leading a bible school for children of the community, and building relationships with the Mexican people and one another. The whole time we are experiencing Jesus through hard but rewarding work, amazing times of worship, relevant life teaching, fellowship and community.
It's a great opportunity to begin to understand what it means to live out our faith in Jesus. We encourage you to pray about joining us on this life changing event as a student or adult missionary!
Come to an Information Meeting on Sun., Nov. 1 at noon in the Garden Room at Trinity Lutheran Church (your attendance at the Information Meeting is required if you are turning in an application).
Your Mexico Mission needs to be turned in along with your $200 deposit by Sun., Nov. 8. If the application is turned in after Nov. 8 you will be placed on a trip waiting list.
If you have a parent or know another adult who would like to be an adult leader on the trip, encourage them to pick up an adult application. These applications are available in the Church Office and in the Youth Center or you can download one below. Please feel free contact any of the Mexico Mission staff with any questions.
