Stefanie Fauth is a 2015 graduate of Luther Seminary, and most recently served as Intern Pastor at Bethany Lutheran Church in Denver, Colorado. Prior to that post, Stefanie was a member of Augustana Lutheran Church in West St. Paul, where she served as the youth intern during the summers and volunteered during the school year.
She earned her Bachelor's degree in Spanish from South Dakota State University, and used her language skills at a number of office and retail jobs before finally answering the call to ministry and entering seminary in 2011. Stefanie has served as an officer in her local Toastmaster's group, and spent her last year on campus at Seminary as Student Council President.
Stefanie is married to Martin Lemke, who will be pursuing his Masters of Architecture at the University of Minnesota. They have two sons, Royce, 5 and Arthur, 3. Royce will start kindergarten this year, and Arthur will be in preschool.
Stefanie is a music, theater and art enthusiast, and spends her spare time creating a variety of things - including painting, crocheting, and writing songs. She's looking forward to living close to her sister again, as they have plans to make a humorous video series.
A native of rural, eastern South Dakota, Stefanie doesn't always know what to do with trees that block her view, but she's enjoyed living in larger cities for the last eight years of her life. Because she grew up in South Dakota, with German-Russians, the Lutherans she worshiped with never made Lutefisk -- a new experience she's told she will have at Trinity!
Her previous congregation went through a lot of transitions, and having witnessed the power of the Holy Spirit in such a time of turmoil, she feels called to walk with communities that are experiencing change and looking for a positive voice in the midst of transition.
It is with gratitude and love that Stefanie accepts the charge to be Trinity Lutheran Church's Interim Pastoral Associate, and she looks forward to joining this wonderful group of people on the journey that lies ahead.
