Gail Olson is a former council member who served for eight years as the lay leader of the Saint Paul Area Synod of the ELCA. Professionally, Gail served as general counsel to MnSCU (MN State Colleges and Universities) for 17 years. Prior to joining MnSCU, she served for 16 years in the Minnesota Attorney General's Office.
Tom and his wife, Jeneal, have been members of Trinity since 1988, and both of their children were confirmed at Trinity. Tom worked for 3M for 35 years in the finance area and retired about four years ago. He recently served on the Long Range planning committee.
Doug Johnson is a member of the Saint Paul Area Synod council. Doug also chaired the senior pastor call committee and the 2014 Opening Doors Task Force, and served as Washington County attorney from 1999-2011.
Arba-Della joined the council in 2016 and has been an active member of Trinity and the Stillwater community for many years, including serving on council at Trinity more than ten years ago. She has also taught Sunday school, lead small groups for confirmation, sang in the choir, been on mission trips to Mexico and Tanzania, and served with Loaves & Fishes. She recently chaired the lead pastor call committee. Arba-Della is President of FamilyMeans, a local nonprofit organization providing services to families.
Mel has been a member of Trinity for 15 years. During that time she has served in multiple capacities, including a decade of Mexico Mission trips with the high school students, the Texas Border Trip, the “Opening Doors” Capital Appeal team, and many other volunteer activities. She and her husband, Jim, have four children and four grandchildren and reside in Lake Elmo. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her family, travel, and participate in multiple outdoor activities.
Mary Claire has been a member of Trinity since 1998 and joined the council in 2015. Mary sings in the Trinity Choir and has served as Assisting Minister for several years. Living in Hudson, she has been very active in a variety of community organizations. Mary is business development director for AECOM, a global architectural engineering company. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, especially growing raspberries; walking; baking; and traveling. She also enjoys attending events at The Phipps Center for the Arts where her husband, John, is the Executive Director.
