Trinity Concerts

These extraordinary concerts and events have become a tradition at Trinity and we welcome every member of the community, to attend. The concerts and events range from children’s musicals to professional concerts by the likes of the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra. Music ranges from the traditional to jazz. The Trinity Concert Series strives to share God’s great gifts of music and the arts with the congregation and community for inspiration, education, and the renewal of the spirit.

A St. Croix Collaboration
Sat., Oct. 8, 8 p.m.
Three of the St. Croix Valley’s finest performing arts organizations join forces for an eclectic evening of music. From the classics to jazz this will be a concert with something for every taste. Music Saint Croix provides the chamber music, the St. Croix Jazz Orchestra provides the rhythm and the Valley Chamber Chorale gives voice to an exciting evening of music making. This concert is free and a gift to the community.

Misbehavin’ Again
Sat., Oct. 15, 7:30 p.m.
Misbehavin’ Again is a tale of two guys in an all-new musical revue featuring classical piano, a bass-baritone, and African dancers mixed with comedy and the unexpected.

St. Croix Concert Series - FINAL CONCERT
Fri., Nov. 11, 7:30 p.m.
After twelve years of presenting world-class music in the Valley, the St. Croix Concert Series is coming to a close. Two favorites from past seasons, Zuill Bailey, cello, and Navah Perlman, piano, will present a spectacular program of works by Chopin, Brahms, and Schumann. The program will include Schumann Fantasy Pieces; Brahms Sonata in F Major; Brahms Songs: Feldeinsamkeit; Chopin Sonata in G Minor; and a

VocalEssence – Welcome Christmas
Sat., Dec. 10, 7:30 p.m.
This year’s VocalEssence Welcome Christmas concert celebrates the holidays with the warmth of traditional carols and the exhilaration of new songs for the season. The concert features a bouquet of carols from France as well as this year’s Welcome Christmas Carol Contest-winning carols — slated this year for men’s chorus and English horn.
The pièce de résistance is the classic cantata So Hallow’d Is the Time by Stephen Paulus.

The Grand Organ – Laura Edman

Come hear the Trinity Schantz organ as a concert instrument. Our own Dr. Laura Edman will share wonderful and accessible literature for the grandest instrument in the world.
