the stories and contributions of refugees.
Saturday, June 27 | 6:30 PM. Author Kao Kalia Yang - award-winning writer, teacher, and poet - shares her journey as a refugee, her latest book, and the importance of welcome and belonging. FREE event; doors open at 6 PM (first come, first served). Includes Q&A and book signing.
Sunday, June 28. Reverend Gilo Agwa, a pastor and former refugee from Ethiopia, will speak at both the 8:30AM and 10AM services, reflecting on God’s care for those on the margins. A discussion and opportunity to learn more from Refugee Housing MN will follow the 10AM service.
