Understanding the Sacraments at Trinity
Everyone is welcome at worship—the faithful, the curious, the doubtful, and the confused! We extend that same welcome to our celebration of the Lord’s Supper, also known as communion. In the Lutheran tradition, we celebrate two sacraments: communion and baptism. These are holy rituals commanded by Jesus that include a physical sign:
Bread and wine for communion and Water for baptism.
We believe it is God who acts in these sacraments, and that all are welcome to encounter the mystery of God’s presence through them.
Everyone is welcome at the Lord’s Table for communion at any time. We also offer a spring class for children and families interested in learning more.
