Compassion Camp: What Every Living Thing Needs. Get ready for an unforgettable week at Vacation Bible School 2026 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Stillwater! This summer at Compassion Camp: What Every Living Thing Needs, we’ll explore how God calls us to care for one another — and for the whole creation. As we look around the world, it’s clear that compassion matters more than ever. During this special week, kids ages 3 (fully potty-trained) through Grade 5 will discover what all living things need to flourish — shelter, food, water, air, and community — and how we can respond with kindness, gratitude, and care for the earth and for each other. Grounded in Psalm 104, we’ll explore the beautiful interconnectedness of God’s creation — humans alongside the more-than-human world. Through music,
storytelling, games, hands-on crafts, and outdoor exploration, campers will
grow in awareness, wonder, and joy as co-sustainers of God’s good world.
Whether making new friends, playing creative games, or discovering ways
to care for the earth, there’s something meaningful (and fun!) for everyone. Please sign up HERE.

Registration for Camp Wapo Summer 2026 | June 19-21 & June 21-26. The theme at Camp Wapo this summer is WONDER. Campers will explore both meanings of wonder: questioning and awe by spending a week full of curiosity, questions, and the wide-open mystery of God’s love. From “What if?” to “Here I am!” they’ll discover that every question is a doorway to deeper trust, transformation, and relationship with God. Start imagining the adventure now— summer at Camp Wapo is where faith, fun, and wonder meet! 2026 Trinity’s Wapo Dates: Seeds Weekend (completed grades 1-3): June 19-21. Weeklong Youth Camp & Roots (completed grades 4 & up): June 21-26. Please sign up HERE.

Trinity's Children's Ministry nurtures young hearts, from birth through fifth grade, in faith through joyful learning, meaningful relationships, and age-appropriate experiences that point to God’s love.

Nurturing Faith Together

Explore our programs designed to support faith formation for children and families at every stage.

Worshipping together is key to lifelong faith. We encourage families with children (birth-3) to focus on Sunday morning worship foundations, and Trinity strives to make it friendly and accessible for all.

  • Calm Lounge: Located in the Chapel (adjacent to the Worship Center), this space is for children (with a caregiver) needing diaper changes, feeding, or a quiet space for big feelings. Worship is livestreamed here.
  • Grace Spaces: Inclusive spots in the Worship Center and Narthex for children (and others) to play, color, and comfortably engage in worship.
  • Worship Bags: Found near Grace Spaces, these age-specific bags (check tags) contain books, activities, crafts, and fidgets. Please help keep them tidy!
  • Sunday Open Gym: The Gym is open for families between worship services on Sundays at 10 a.m. Supervision is provided for parents attending Faith Forum.

Welcome all super singers! We rehearse on Wednesdays from 4:30-5:15 p.m. in the Choir Room (behind the Worship Center).

The Youth Choir sings in church once a month, alternating between the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. services as worship leaders. Highlights include singing with an Orchestra and the Trinity (Adult) Choir in December, and presenting a musical at church in May!

Contact Sonia Esch to sign up or if you have questions.

Trinity proudly partners with Lake Area Discovery Center (LADC) to offer preschool and childcare, meeting high demand since our site opened in 2006. We host LADC's largest Pre-K classroom, a beautiful indoor gym, and a community playground built with Trinity Lutheran Church and Stillwater Headstart.

LADC fosters a creative environment, promoting Christian values, honoring diversity, and encouraging fellowship.
