Pastoral Transition Team

This page is the best place to find updates and information about the pastoral transition at Trinity and upcoming events regarding this process. Your prayers are most helpful to us during this season of transition.

Transition Team: Trinity's Transition Team has been formed! The Transition Team members are Penny Catlin, Gary Cross, Richard Edstrom, Sabrina Fay, Keith Rediske, Kris Torma and Ann Wolff

This dedicated group of volunteers will work closely with staff, council, and members to ensure continuity, gather input, and keep everyone informed every step of the way. We will share more about the team in coming weeks. Please keep them in your prayers as they begin their important work.

About the Process

A pastoral transition within the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) is a structured process that involves several key phases, including the ending of the previous pastor's ministry, self-study and visioning by the congregation, the call process for a new pastor, and the welcoming of the new leader. This process is guided by the ELCA synods and involves various individuals and committees, such as the Congregation Council, Call Committee, Interim Pastor, and Transition Team, with the ultimate goal of ensuring a healthy and prayerful transition into a new season of ministry.
