Our Sunday Forum has speakers on topics of faith, the Bible, Pride and Racial Justice, current social events of concern, history, immigration, care of creation and Health and Well-being. All of these can help us relate to our understanding of what is necessary to being a community of love, compassion and seeing each other as a Child of God. November 23 & 30: Sports and Religion ... and Religion as Sports. Dr. Chris Gehrz, History Professor at Bethel College, has graciously returned to Trinity for two topics this season. Most people have some relationship with sports. Chris with lead us in discussion on the various ways that Christians have embraced or been wary of sports and how sports can actually "do religious work" itself. It should be a fascinating session, as always!
