What is your position at church? How would you describe what you do to a friend?
Children & Family Faith Formation Coordinator. I get to make God's word come to life in a fun and engaging way for children and their families that helps build a foundation for lifelong faith.

What is the best part about your job? Your favorite task/responsibility?
The best part of my job is getting to exercise my creativity. I love putting together Children's Bulletins each week to connect church to home and give families tangible ways to talk about their faith together.

What is your current favorite bible story or verse and why?
There are so many good Bible stories and verses to choose from, but I'd have to say my current favorite is Isaiah 43:1, Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. This verse reminds me that God sees me, understands me, and loves me unconditionally, which is both comforting and humbling.

What is your current favorite name for God and why?
My favorite name for God is Emmanuel and I love that it literally means, God with us. When I stop to think about what that truly means I am overcome by the depths of love God has for us.

How would you describe your faith journey in 5 words?
Diligent + Challenged + Transformative + Perpetual + Curious

Where would you like to travel in the world if money and time off were no object?
If money and time off were no object, I would love to travel to Norway, followed by a tour of South America. I’ve always wanted to see where my ancestors came from and connect with family left in Norway, and then hop over to South America to see a part of the world I haven't spent a lot of time in.

What is your favorite novel/series/genre of literature?
I am a historical fiction fanatic. Lauraine Snelling and Elizabeth Camden are two of my favorite authors. I've read nearly everything both have written!

A random fun fact about yourself.
I was the Minnesota State Speech Champion in Storytelling my senior year of high school.
